About Steven "Doc" List
I'm a career technologist, manager, leader, executive, speaker, and coach. And I'm new to the world of agile development. Well, new in the sense that I've never worked in an environment that was specifically identified as "agile".
In 1988, I delivered my first public talk, and it was on Rapid Prototyping and Rapid Application Development. So I don't feel entirely a fish out of water.
Today I'm leading, and learning from, an agile team at Dovetail Software. The intention of this blog is to record and share my experiences and the lessons I learn from those experiences, spurred on by Scott Bellware.
I'm proud to say that my team nicknamed me "Doc" in my second week, as a shortened version of "Dr. Steve", a take-off on "Dr. Phil". This was as a result of my working with them on communication, respect, and the dreaded "F word" - feelings. :)
